The Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lakewood Presbyterian 87-26 at home. That looming 87-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Garland Christian Academy yet this season.
Caden Sandlin was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 11 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Garland Christian Academy's points. Aiden Tiet was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Garland Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garland Christian Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Poetry Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
