Bella Vista is 2-7 against the Honkers since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bella Vista Broncos will head out on the road to square off against the Yuba City Honkers at 7:00 p.m. Bella Vista has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 3.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-36, which was the final score in Bella Vista's tilt against the Tigers on Friday. While losing is never fun, Bella Vista can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 857th, while the Tigers are ranked 185th).
Meanwhile, Yuba City's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Inderkum 55-18.
Bella Vista dropped their record down to 7-20 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Yuba City, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.
Bella Vista couldn't quite finish off the Honkers in their previous meeting back in January and fell 39-37. Can Bella Vista avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
