Meanwhile, Corcoran unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frontier.
Shafter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. As for Corcoran, they bumped their record down to 4-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
