Jolene Sharpe was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mae Struna, who scored 12 points.
Pymatuning Valley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Mathews, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
