Alcott waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 64-55. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Alcott's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.0 points per game. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Alcott will take on Juarez in a tournament on Saturday. Alcott knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Juarez likes a good challenge. Roosevelt and DeKalb will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
