Olney has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge Masterman at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Olney will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Masterman is ranked 85th).
On January 8th, Olney came up short against Belmont Charter and fell 43-34.
Meanwhile, Masterman put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 41-35 W over Prep Charter.
Jocelyn Goldstein was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Masterman's points. Sophia Brunelli was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Olney now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Masterman, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
