Football Recap: Hanover Park Skates Past Parsippany with Ease

While Hanover Park put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Parsippany. The Hornets took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-0 win over the Redhawks. The Hornets have beaten the Redhawks the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Redhawks has come to flipping the script.

Jack Kovacs had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 42 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 194 yards and two TDs. Dante Rosato was another key player, rushing for 76 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hanover Park was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 267 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Hanover Park's record now sits at 5-0. As for Parsippany, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
