The Rialto Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Summit SkyHawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rialto will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Rialto has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 22 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Silverado with a sharp 70-46 win on Wednesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-17.
Rialto got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carrington Davis out in front who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists. The matchup was Davis' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Destiny Rabino was another key contributor, scoring 26 points.
Meanwhile, Summit was beaten by Roosevelt 79-42 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Summit can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Roosevelt is ranked 85th).
Rialto's victory lifted them to 8-1 while Silverado's loss dropped them down to 6-3.
Rialto strolled past Summit in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 64-46. Does Rialto have another victory up their sleeve, or will Summit turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
