Tokay came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 34-28 W over the Pitman Pride. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 55-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Pitman still got an impressive performance from Dailynn Greener, who posted 14 points. That was a full 50% of Pitman's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Tokay's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Pitman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
