Shane Magee Turns in Season-Best Performance
Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley was led to victory by Shane Magee, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Magee wasn't messing around, throwing for 320 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The matchup was his fourth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
This year, Magee has thrown 26 touchdowns while averaging 228.9 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 13.88 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 33.5 rushing yards.

Smethport was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Jonah Ganoe did his best to prevent it. Ganoe was excellent, rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.7).
Smethport is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Ganoe and Smethport will welcome Cameron County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thomas Made His Presence Known in Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley's 48-34 Win
Ray'Shene Thomas posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 127 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
For the season, Thomas has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 65.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had five receiving touchdowns.

Zucal Posts Huge Game in 41-14 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Malakai Zucal stepped things up a notch to give Cameron County the 'W'. Nobody could stop Zucal as he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
If history really does repeat itself, Zucal might just drop another big game when he faces off against Smethport on Friday. When Zucal last faced the Hubbers back in September, he rushed for 195 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Owen Rounsville's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Smethport over Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley
Owen Rounsville posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending a pass.
For the year, Rounsville has averaged 53.3 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 37.86 rushing yards.
