Maize put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding  50-0 win over the South Cougars. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.
Maize got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brayden Myovela out in front who threw for 130 yards and two  TDs, and also punched in one  score on the ground.  Malachi Leichner also helped with two touchdowns in total.

 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Maize will take on North at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the RedHawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.13  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South, they are taking a road trip to  take on Andover  on Friday.
