The Riverview Raiders stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over Leechburg. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Riverview has posted since January 2nd.
Lily Bauer was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Katerina Tsambis, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Riverview pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for Leechburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Riverview will square off against Hillel Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillel Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Leechburg, they will be playing at home against Nazareth Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
