The two teams set a North Carolina record for most points combined, beating the old record of 142. Rose had 750 yards of offense with
Dontavies Harris rushing for 349 yards and six touchdowns and
Caleb Edwards caught seven passes for 297 yards and three scores.
Holton Ahlers of Conley threw for 507 yards and had nine touchdowns combined rushing and passing.
137 - Puyallup (Wash.) 77, South Kitsap (Port Orchard, Wash.) 60
Nathaniel Holcomb set a Washington state record with 10 touchdown passes for Puyallup in the win. Brian Lindgren held the previous record with nine. Holcomb threw for 451 yards in the win, completing 33 of 53 passes.
132 - Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, Calif.) 70, Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.) 62
One week after scoring 63 points in a win, Oaks Christian scored 62 points in a loss, this time to Murrieta Valley.
Matt Corral of Oaks Christian threw for 503 yards, including a national record 99 yard touchdown pass to
Mycah Pittman. The sophomore receiver finished with 13 catches for 380 yards. Sophomore
Zach Charbonnet added six touchdown runs. For Murrieta Valley,
Hank Bachmeier threw for 408 yards and seven touchdowns while
Olita Palmer ran for 269 yards and two scores.

Tazewell overcame a 21-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat Rural Retreat.
Mason Mullins ran back a 90-yard kickoff, caught a 63-yard and nine-yard pass and also threw a 36-yard touchdown pass in the win.
130 - Simon Kenton (Independence, Ky.) 77, Highlands (Fort Thomas, Ky.) 53
Cameron Racke threw six touchdown passes and ran for three more to lead Simon Kenton. He had 273 yards passing and 130 yards rushing as Simon Kenton had 752 yards of total offense.
128 - Grape Creek (San Angelo, Texas) 78, Coahoma (Texas) 50
Juan Buenrostro ran for four touchdowns and
Austin Barron ran for three and passed for one for Grape Creek.

Beaver's Darius Wise ran for 403 yards and scored seven touchdowns in the win while
Alex Smith threw for 450 yards and ran for 203. He had ran for three touchdowns and threw for four.

Chris Melton caught a 72-yard pass and also had kickoff returns of 72 and 75 yards for touchdowns in Ridgewood's win.

Ethan Mahn had six touchdowns for St. Clair, including two kickoff returns and a 96-yard run. The two teams combined for three kickoff returns for touchdowns in the third quarter alone.

For Swartz Creek,
Joe Hill threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 147 yards and two scores. The contest was one of three games in Michigan that produced 119 combined points.
