 Carley Steinspring was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since June 3rd. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Teygan Rasmussen was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Cierra Wieland, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Jefferson was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln only posted a  batting average of  .167.
Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 8-23. As for Lincoln, their loss was  their sixth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-20.
 Coincidentally, Jefferson and Lincoln will both be playing Lewis Central the next time they take the field. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Titans at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Lynx will play them later in the day, at 1:30  p.m.
