The Piner Prospectors lost against the Windsor Jaguars back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Piner took a serious blow against Windsor, falling 65-37. Piner has not had much luck with Windsor recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Piner still got an impressive performance from Betzie Hernandez , who scored 22 points.
Piner's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Windsor, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
Piner won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Credo at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Credo is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Windsor, they will head out on the road to face off against Healdsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Healdsburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Windsor in California (Healdsburg is ranked 179th, while Windsor is ranked 849th).
