The Corning Cardinals will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Tuesday, Corning came up short against the Tigers and fell 46-35. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Corning in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Las Plumas beat the Trojans 42-29 on Friday.
Corning dropped their record down to 1-21 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Las Plumas, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.
Corning came up short against the Thunderbirds in their previous meeting back in January, falling 36-28. Can Corning avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
