Leadership will head out on the road to face off against Oakland Unity at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Leadership is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Leadership suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 64-25 loss at the hands of KIPP King. Leadership was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-9.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Hazel Goundar and
Aishah Raoufi, who each put up eight points.
Meanwhile, Oakland Unity took a serious blow against KIPP King on January 10th, falling 54-7. Oakland Unity was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Oakland Unity, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Leadership came up short against Oakland Unity in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 40-34. Can Leadership avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
