After three games on the road, Obama Academy of International Studies is heading back home. They will take on the Brashear Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-43, which was the final score in Obama Academy of International Studies' tilt against Taylor Allderdice on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Brashear scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 60-19 victory over Neighborhood Academy. Brashear has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 29 points or more this season.
Brashear can attribute much of their success to Ariana Sherrill, who scored 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sherrill has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braiya Bowie, who scored nine points.
Obama Academy of International Studies now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Brashear, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.
Obama Academy of International Studies took their victory against Brashear in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 62-37. Will Obama Academy of International Studies repeat their success, or does Brashear have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
