Tulelake is 0-10 against Fall River since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tulelake Honkers will be staying on the road to face off against the Fall River Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th. Hopefully Tulelake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
Last Saturday, everything went Tulelake's way against Hayfork as Tulelake made off with a 50-29 victory.
Tulelake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Makenzie Perez led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenna Fine, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fall River's game on Saturday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Sheldon 64-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fall River.
The losses dropped Tulelake to 4-4 and Hayfork to 0-4.
Tulelake took a serious blow against Fall River when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 82-22. Can Tulelake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
