Clovis East barely beat Central East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves blew past the Bengals 12-1 on Wednesday. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Clovis East, bringing their record up to 16-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Central East, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-16.

Clovis East will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bengals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
