If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Minneapolis North. On Friday they take on Brooklyn Center at 7:00 PM. Brooklyn Center will need to watch out since Minneapolis North have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Last Friday, Minneapolis North put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They took their game against Columbia Heights by a conclusive 38-6 score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Minneapolis North had established a 32-0 advantage.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Concordia Academy, Brooklyn Center were happy to find some success. Brooklyn Center walked away with a 24-17 victory over Roosevelt. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Brooklyn Center as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Minneapolis North were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Brooklyn Center 54-0.
