After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, Air Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Lewis-Palmer Rangers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Kadets, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Bailey Williams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August.
