Meanwhile, Coronado came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwest SD on Friday, sneaking past 36-33.
Coronado found their leader in freshman Gabby Fichter, who earned 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Albin, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
