Blue Island Eisenhower won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cardinals skirted past the Hawks 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Blue Island Eisenhower had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-20, 25-10.

Blue Island Eisenhower now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Hillcrest, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Island Eisenhower will take on Thornwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillcrest, they will face off against Richards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
