There are only a few weeks left in the high school softball season, which culminates with the crowning of the MaxPreps National Champion. Several teams solidified their place in the final MaxPreps Top 25 last week — including a pair of Northern California powers.

Del Oro (Loomis) and No. 11
Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) met for the fourth time this season in yet another back-and-forth battle. Two weeks ago, Oak Ridge edged Del Oro 3-2 to win the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 1 title. On Saturday, the Golden Eagles got their revenge, claiming the NorCal Division 1 crown with a 5-3 victory.
