Hartman continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylah Yeakel, who scored eight points.
Jim Thorpe's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.3 points per game. As for Blue Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Jim Thorpe will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. North Schuylkill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Olympians in Pennsylvania (the Spartans are ranked 94th, while the Olympians are ranked 626th). As for Blue Mountain, they will head out on the road to take on the Crimson Tide at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
