Newport Christian is on a five-game streak of home losses, Western Christian an 11-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Newport Christian Seahawks will take on the Western Christian Fighting Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Western Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-42 to Avalon.
