Despite the defeat, Wildwood saw an underclassman step up: Zayden Garcia scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Garcia has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Louis Brown, who scored 19 points.
Halifax Academy's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.4 points. As for Wildwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Halifax Academy will head out on the road to challenge Legacy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wildwood, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Leesburg at 7:30 p.m. Leesburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wildwood in Florida (Leesburg is ranked 76th, while Wildwood is ranked 602nd).
