After a string of five wins, the Analy Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 51-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windsor. Analy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Windsor apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Analy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Destin Emmert, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Dukes, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Analy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Analy will face off against Maria Carrillo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Maria Carrillo presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Analy in California (Maria Carrillo is ranked 91st, while Analy is ranked 383rd). As for Windsor, they will head out on the road to face off against Elsie Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elsie Allen's defense has only allowed 26.9 points per game this season, so Windsor's offense will have their work cut out for them.
