While losing is never fun, Bloomsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Loyalsock Township is ranked 67th).
When it comes to explaining why Bloomsburg lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brynna Zentner. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Zentner scored a full 38.5% of Bloomsburg's points, the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Teagan Serrano, who scored 11 points.
Bloomsburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Loyalsock Township, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Bloomsburg will head out on the road to face off against Mount Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Carmel and Bloomsburg are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Loyalsock Township, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Warrior Run at 7:30 p.m.
