Calaveras's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 67-17 win over the Big Valley Christian Lions. The Red Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Calaveras got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mariah Maddock out in front who went 5 of 6 on her way to 11 points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave Maddock a new career-high in shooting accuracy (83%). Morgan Clifton was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

Calaveras was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Big Valley Christian only posted one assist.

Kailey Rivera and Jorjah Sims certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Rivera posted eight points and 11 rebounds, while Sims earned no points. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games she's played.

Calaveras' win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Big Valley Christian, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Calaveras has already played their next game, a 64-16 victory against Summerville on the 7th. Big Valley Christian has also already played their next match (against Bret Harte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
