After five games on the road, Lower Lake is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Upper Lake Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, Lower Lake was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Willits.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Upper Lake, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a 45-30 bruising from Kelseyville on Friday. While losing is never fun, Upper Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1090th, while Kelseyville is ranked 495th).
Lower Lake has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Upper Lake, they have fallen quite a ways from their 29-3 record last season and are now at 0-7.
Lower Lake might still be hurting after the 60-35 loss they got from Upper Lake in their previous matchup back in January. Will Lower Lake have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
