Sacred Heart of Jesus has not had much luck with Ramona Convent recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Sacred Heart of Jesus' loss came about despite a quality game from Xitlali Botts, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals. Botts is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Genevee Hernandez, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Paraclete suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy 71-25. Paraclete's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
