The Ramona Rams can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hillcrest 59-24 at home. Winning may never get old, but Ramona sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Ramona had a senior duo take command as Ava Wallace scored ten points along with nine rebounds and six steals and Alexa Moreno scored 11 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Wallace pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Akayla Chaple, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Ramona has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-19.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramona the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Arlington has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27. As for Hillcrest, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Patriot at 7:00 p.m.
