Meanwhile, Johnson was beaten by Cordova 54-12 on Wednesday. Johnson has struggled against Cordova recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Foothill didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Johnson in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Johnson's Timoa Pa'aga, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
