The Pottsgrove Falcons can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They really took it to Pottstown for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-21 win at home. The win was just what Pottsgrove needed coming off of a 59-33 defeat in their prior game.
Jessica Carroll was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Mikayla Eckman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Pottsgrove's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Pottstown, they bumped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Pottsgrove will take on Upper Perkiomen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pottstown, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Methacton at 7:00 p.m.
