Cayden See was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).
In other batting news, Lampeter-Strasburg let Cooper Hillen and Hayden Nebel run wild. Hillen went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Nebel scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Nebel a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Brady Scranton, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Lampeter-Strasburg hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cocalico struck out nine times.
Meanwhile, J.P. McCaskey fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lebanon on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Cedars, falling 16-9. The loss was the Red Tornado's first of the season.
