The Anaheim Colonists can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 75-34 win over Magnolia. The win was familiar territory for Anaheim who now have 11 in a row.
Anaheim had a senior duo take command as Elise Marquez scored ten points along with eight steals and six assists and Gisele Martinez scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Marquez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last eight games she's played. Aleah McGregor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Anaheim's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Magnolia, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anaheim will take on the Centurions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Century comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last ten games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Magnolia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
