Trinity was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ballard on Friday. The Shamrocks blew past the Bruins 35-3. Considering the Shamrocks have won four matchups by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Ballard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity will challenge rival Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ballard is set to face off against their familiar foe Oldham County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
