Vista del Lago hasn't had much luck against Rancho Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ravens will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Vista del Lago made easy work of Perris and carried off a 9-2 win. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

AJ Nevarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. As a matter of fact, that's the most runs he has scored all season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alec Bostrom, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Caleb Bowman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Rancho Christian waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 8-6.
Sean Downs was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Spencer Horner, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Rancho Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Vista del Lago, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Vista del Lago has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rancho Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Vista del Lago suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Rancho Christian in their previous meeting on April 3rd. Will the Ravens have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
