The Mt. Shasta Bears had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 41-40 to Tulelake.
Tulelake found their leader in underclassman Josefina Mojica, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alejandra Perez, who scored 5 points.
Mt. Shasta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Tulelake, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Mt. Shasta won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Butte Valley at 5:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Tulelake, they will head out on the road to face off against Lost River at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th.
