The Truckee Wolverines lost against the North Tahoe Lakers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Truckee fell 32-24 to North Tahoe. Truckee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Alana Hendricks, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals for North Tahoe. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hendricks has scored at least 25% of North Tahoe's points. Samantha Carnevale was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Truckee now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Tahoe, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Truckee will take on Owyhee at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Owyhee's defense has only allowed 22.8 points per game this season, so Truckee's offense will have their work cut out for Truckee. As for North Tahoe, they will head out on the road to face off against South Tahoe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Tahoe is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
