Hills-Beaver Creek had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Cedar Mountain/Comfrey on Friday as they made off with a 28-6 win. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Hills-Beaver Creek will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Mountain Lake/Mountain Lake Christian at 7:00 PM. Cedar Mountain/Comfrey are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton next week at 7:00 PM.
