The Franklin Learning Center Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the South Philadelphia Rams at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Franklin Learning Center comes in on five and South Philadelphia on three.
In what's become a running theme this season, Franklin Learning Center gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They breezed by First Philadelphia Prep on the road to the tune of 41-2. Given Franklin Learning Center's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while First Philadelphia Prep is ranked 581st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin Learning Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makiyah Brunson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saanya Bracley, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, South Philadelphia didn't have too much trouble with Strawberry Mansion on the road on Friday as they won 29-11.
Franklin Learning Center's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for South Philadelphia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Franklin Learning Center ended up a good deal behind South Philadelphia in their previous meeting back in January of 2018, losing 45-26. Can Franklin Learning Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
