The Towanda Black Knights will face off against the Tunkhannock Tigers at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Towanda is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They took their  matchup  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  43-14 win over Sayre. With the Black Knights ahead  36-0 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.

 Tanner Vanderpool was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 79 yards and a pair of  scores, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. That's the most  receiving yards  he has posted since back in October of 2024.

 Meanwhile, Tunkhannock can  bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They managed  a  15-10 victory over Montrose.
 Tunkhannock's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Towanda, they picked up their first home  victory, bumping their record up to 2-6.
