After soaring to 56 points the game before, the Parkway Center City Bulldogs were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Central 63-18. Parkway Center City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-11.
Adrian Weaver was Parkway Center City's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Weaver also led the team in rebounds with eight.
Marchella Wuisan took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Jayda Wright continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central, scoring 11 points along with eight steals and five assists. Wright hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Sofia Meer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Parkway Center City has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Parkway Center City will be playing at home against Bristol at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Cristo Rey Philadelphia at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Cristo Rey Philadelphia is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
