The Soquel Knights will head out on the road to take on the Pacific Grove Breakers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Soquel is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Saturday, everything went Soquel's way against Woodside as Soquel made off with a 9-3 win. Fans of the Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Jake Escalante made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Dylan Hull tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
