Leading Burroughs to victory were Claire Hackney and Elizabeth Amoroso. Hackney scored 18 points, while Amoroso scored 12 points along with nine assists and eight steals. The match was Amoroso's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Martin, who scored six points.
Burroughs pushed their record up to 12-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Holy Martyrs Armenian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Burroughs and Notre Dame (SO) will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Notre Dame (SO) has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
