Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centennial). They claimed a resounding 94-9 win over the Norco Cougars. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Cougars are ranked 988th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centennial has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Norco, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-47 victory against Roosevelt on the 16th. Norco has also already played their next game, a 58-17 loss against King on the 16th.
