Ferndale's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deajah Chatman, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maisen Sechrengost, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Northern Cambria has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Ferndale, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Northern Cambria will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Conemaugh Township is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Ferndale, they will head out on the road to take on the Crushers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Bishop McCort's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while the Yellow Jackets have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
